Fruit
Ambrosia
A tier
Ambrosia is a soft-seeded pomegranate cultivar with large pink arils and sweet, low-to-moderate acid flavour aimed at fresh dessert eating. Fruit can be large; rind colouring is attractive pink-red at maturity. It appears in specialty nursery lists for gardeners chasing soft seeds over juice-industry hardness. Serve as premium arils on yogurt and desserts. Less common in commodity bins than Wonderful. Fully ripe fruit sounds metallic-hollow when tapped and feels heavy for size.
