Vechur is a dwarf cattle breed of Kerala, among the world’s smallest bovine breeds, kept as a house cow for small amounts of relatively rich milk. Folklore and local marketing emphasise digestibility and traditional uses; scientifically it is a low-volume, high-care indigenous dairy curiosity with real cultural importance. Vechur milk is sold in specialty Kerala dairies and wellness markets in small bottles. Use as a rare drinking milk or for tiny-batch sweets and curd. It will not supply a café—but it is a genuine indigenous dairy product with strong regional identity.
