Dairy
Red Sindhi
B tier
Red Sindhi is a compact red dairy zebu originating in Sindh (now Pakistan), widely used across Asia for tropical milk production. Milk is sweet and reasonably rich, well adapted to hot climates where European dairy breeds struggle without heavy management. Red Sindhi milk suits chai, curd, and everyday South Asian cooking. It is a practical smallholder dairy breed. Crossbreeding programmes often use Red Sindhi to add heat tolerance to higher-volume genetics.
