Finnish Ayrshire

B tier

Finnish Ayrshire is Finland’s major dairy population based on Ayrshire bloodlines adapted to northern conditions. Milk is clean, slightly sweet, and balanced in solids—ideal for Finland’s liquid milk, viili-style cultured products, and cheese plants. In the kitchen it performs as reliable Nordic milk: good foam, clean yoghurt, honest flavour. Cold-climate forage seasons shape fat and taste; summer pasture milk is especially aromatic.
