Dutch Belted (Lakenvelder) cattle are the striking white-belted dairy breed from the Netherlands, kept in smaller heritage herds. Milk is respectable dairy quality—clean flavour, moderate fat—not the extreme solids of Jersey nor the volume of Holstein. They suit diversified pasture dairies more than mega-parlours. Seek Dutch Belted milk from farm shops and CSA dairies; it drinks well fresh and makes pleasant farmhouse cheese and yoghurt. Volume is limited, so it is a specialty rather than commodity carton milk.
