Fruit
Meiwa
A tier
Meiwa is a round, sweeter kumquat hybrid type with milder acid pulp—often the best raw whole-eating kumquat for those who find nagami too sour inside. Peel and flesh both lean sweeter. Fruit is plump and ornamental. Eat fresh as candy-like citrus; still excellent preserved. Premium when fully orange and slightly soft. A dessert kumquat relative to sharper nagami.
