Embden goose eggs are very large white eggs from the heavy German white meat goose—impressive in the pan, rich in the bowl, but produced in modest numbers because the breed is meat-first. Flavour is mild-rich goose, excellent for shared breakfasts. Seasonal spring lay; crack carefully—shells are thick. One Embden egg can replace multiple chicken eggs in family scrambles.
