Mammoth

Herb

Mammoth

A tier

Mammoth dill races skyward with large umbels perfect for pickle crocks and dill seed harvest, while still offering usable fronds earlier in growth. Stature can exceed 1.5 metres in good soil. Tuck whole heads into cucumber jars; dry seed for bread and braises. Leaf on young plants seasons fish before the plant turns entirely to seed. Stake if windy—umbels are heavy.
