Atlas

Vegetable

Atlas

A tier

Atlas butternut hybrids target larger fruit and heavy yields for processing and food-service cubing—more squash per vine without abandoning the tan skin and orange flesh identity. Texture can be slightly coarser than small gourmet fruits but holds up in industrial peeling lines. Flavour is sweet-neutral and versatile. Best for bulk roasting, purée, and institutional kitchens. Home cooks may prefer smaller types for single meals. Still recognisably butternut on the plate.
