Meat
Grain Finished
B tier
Grain-finished bison spend a final period on grain or mixed ration after pasture growth, aiming for slightly more cover and a softer chew than pure grass finish. They remain leaner than most grain beef, but the extra energy can round flavour and ease everyday steak cookery for diners used to beef mouthfeel. Use for ribeyes, strip steaks, and burgers when you want a gentler introduction to bison. Still pull earlier than heavily marbled beef; grain does not create Prime-style fat seams. Transparent labelling should state grain type and days on feed.
