Corno di Toro
A tier
Corno di Toro (“bull’s horn”) are Italian sweet frying peppers—tapered, medium-thick walls, red or yellow when ripe—with richer, fruitier flavour than watery blocky bells. They blister beautifully in a hot pan. Thin enough to eat skin-on after quick cooking. Classic peperonata and grill baskets; excellent raw when fully coloured. Seek true Italian seed lines or quality market fruit. A chef favourite for sweet pepper flavour density.
