Beverage
Märzen
Märzen is an amber German lager historically brewed in March for autumn drinking—medium body, clean malt, light toast, and restrained hops. Oktoberfest-style festbiers often sit in the same family: smooth, malty, and built for long sessions with roast meats. Ideal cooking lager for sausages, pork shoulder, and onion gravy where caramel malt echoes browned meat. Bitterness is moderate; reductions stay friendlier than IPA-based pans.
