Maibock
Maibock (Helles Bock) is a pale, strong spring lager—golden rather than dark, with rich malt, light toast, and firmer hop presence than many dark bocks. It bridges festive strength and drinkable pale colour for May and early summer tables. Excellent with roast pork, asparagus, and soft pretzels; in cooking it adds malt without the roast of dunkel or doppelbock. Hop bitterness can concentrate if reduced hard—taste as you go.
