Amber
Amber ale is a malt-leaning, copper-coloured ale with caramel sweetness, moderate hops, and easy drinkability—popular in North American craft and as a flexible pub style. It sits between pale ale and brown ale in roast intensity. Excellent general braising beer for beef, sausages, and baked beans where caramel malt echoes browned onions. Bitterness is usually moderate enough for longer reductions than IPA.
